Scientex Great Wall Ipoh (SWGI) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Mondi Ipoh Sdn. Bhd.) was acquired by Scientex Bhd., a global packaging manufacturer and leading property developer in 2015. This acquisition of two manufacturing plants located in Sg. Siput and Chemor, Perak boosted Scientex’s consumer-packaging production capacity by nearly 30% to 76,800 metric tons per annum.
The Porsche Centre Sungai Besi (PCSB) is a 34,700 square feet car sales, service and spare-parts center that projects the worldwide ethos and style of Porsche. The state-of-art 3S facility features a modern showroom that can accommodate up to 10 display cars, a workshop with 9 technologically-advanced service bays. But they encounter issues with General exhaust ventilation of the showroom. Although the mechanical ventilation system had worked well to remove airborne contaminants, it was inadequate at maintaining thermal comfort for the technicians.

Wisma Prosper (also known as Menara Prosper) is a building complex owned by Prosper Palm Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd, which engages in the trading and supply of edible oil. The 13-storey building located in Kelana Jaya, Selangor serves as both the office space for the owner’s corporate headquarters as well as other business tenants.
Aging air-cooled chillers used to provide comfort cooling for the building challenged the owner’s ability to keep occupants comfortable and costs low, their reliability was affected by the weather and aging components and their general efficiency had declined greatly.
In 2001, Scientex Packaging Film Sdn. Bhd., a set out to expand their stretch-film manufacturing facility in Pulau Indah, Port Klang. This facility’s rapid expansion increased its annual production capacity to120,000 metric tons in 2012, a fivefold increase from the startup capacity.
The owner wanted to build in process-cooling capacity dedicated specifically to the needs of the new fabrication lines and concurrently, improve the reliability of an existing process-cooling system compromised by aging water chillers through scheduled replacements.
